///reflections of the way life used to be

multiple, edition 20

The multiple in a cardboard package

each multiple consists of two frames

13x18 cm each

Reflections of the way life used to be is the first multiple published in-house. It consists of two frames, the left one is a colour photo of a seascape in Cornwall, U.K. The frame on the right is the same photo but in black and white and details are changed. In the colour photo you can see traces of light from a boat sailing by. The boat itself is not visible, just the lighttracks. In the black and white photo the lighttrack is replaced by a schematic view of the lighting that the boat would be implemented in accordance to the rules of traffic at sea. This work is about the differences in how you remember things and how memories can be changed because you know what could have happened.
